AGCO introduces GT tractor series Power, comfort and reliability define the AGCO line and that includes the newly introduced 45- to 73-pto horsepower AGCO GTs. The new series complements the compact STs (20 to 55 engine hp) and utility LTs (70 to 80 pto hp). Whether 2WD or 4WD, cab or platform configuration, the GTs offer balance of power to weight and a turning radius of 10.5 feet. The series includes the GT45, GT55, GT65 and GT75. "Our farmer customers have been looking for the same tough, reliable tractors in this horsepower range as they have experienced in our compact, utility and larger row crop tractors," says Todd Stucke, general marketing manager, AGCO tractors. "The GTs are the ideal big tractor for smaller acreages. At the same time, they are sized right for loader and utility jobs common to larger farming operations." GTs feature proven, well-balanced and efficient three- and four-cylinder engines with SynchroShuttle transmissions and push button controls for pto, all-wheel drive and differential lock. The GTs' three- and four-cylinder engines boast fuel injectors for each cylinder. This power pairing helps insure more precise fuel control for a more economical burn and reduced emissions.
