Compact tractor with a choice: New Holland's new TC30 tractor offers wide range of transmission, drive options - Turf Equipment - Brief Article Author: Diesel Progress North American Edition
In an effort to complement its existing Boomer compact tractor line, New Holland has introduced a new 30 hp compact tractor that can be customized with a choice of transmissions, two-wheel or front-wheel drive axle and other features to match customer needs.
"The TC30 compact tractor is a value priced offering that complements New Holland's premium Boomer line-up of compact tractors," said Bob Warfel, marketing manager, compact tractors, at New Holland. "At 25.5 PTO hp, the TC30 is positioned in the 20 to 30 pto hp category, which is the highest volume segment in the compact tractor industry.
"New Holland's market research indicated that a significant number of customers were interested in a value-priced tractor that featured top performance characteristics but without all of the premium features of the Boomer models.
Available in either 9 x 3 manual transmission or hydrostatic and with a choice of two-wheel drive or front-wheel drive, the TC30 offers customers among the widest selection of value-priced tractors in the industry."
The TC30 tractor is powered by a naturally aspired, three-cylinder, water-cooled 91.3 cu. in. diesel engine rated 30 hp at 2600 rpm. The engine, badged as a New Holland N843, the engine is made exclusively for New Holland by ISM Co. Ltd. (Isbikawajima-Shibaura) of Japan.
