The MXM120 tractor offers growers additional options designed to increase productivity and profitability.
A MAN'S best friend may be his dog, but for a vegetable grower, his tractor comes in as a close second, especially during the growing season. To help growers with the multiple tasks at hand, Case IH announced the redesign of its MXM tractor series last summer and unveiled the line at the World Ag Expo in Tulare, CA, last February.
Providing additional features to improve field efficiency, the MXM Series Maxxum tractors consist of six models ranging from 95 to 160 PTO hp. The models include the MXM120, MXM130, MXM140, MXM155, MXM175, and MXM190. An efficient powerplant is said to be at the heart of this tractor series. The 7.5-liter engine delivers up to 40% torque rise.
The MXM120 is said to be ideal for vegetable growers. With 95 PTO hp, this model offers growers programmable transmissions, 8725-pound, 3-point lift capacity, and ample hydraulic flow. The MXM120 also is sized for maximum maneuverability to easily fit into cramped quarters. According to Ray DeMond, product specialist at Case IH, "The MXM120 has a very large hydraulic capacity to attend to the needs of vegetable growers."
