In most cases, the color red means stop. However, if you're talking about the ag equipment business and the red machines from Case IH, there has been precious little stopping over the last four years.

Continuing the dramatic changes that began in 1999 with the merger of Case and New Holland that formed CNH Global, Case IH recently launched a new line of midrange row crop and hay tractors along with a new Axial-Flow combine and a more powerful version of its venerable Steiger tractor platform in both Quadtrac tracked and wheeled versions. The company also extended its 1200 Series Advanced Seed Meter planter line with the new 12/23 and 16/31 spit-row configuration products and expanded its ADX Series air system with the new ADX3380 and ADX3430.

"Case IH has continually invested in new product development," said James Irwin, vice president, North American agricultural business for Case IH. "With the launch of these new products, 90 percent of the Case IH product line will truly be new for 2004 compared to the product line that existed at the time of the merger."

Here is a look at the newest models.
