Dozers are specialized crawler tractors with a large frontal blade, capable of pushing heavy amounts of earth and gravel with ease.

While dozers are a common proponent of earth-moving vehicles seen on construction sites, they are extensively used in agricultural settings to clear land, as well as level & grade farm land for further preparation.

These vehicles do a superior job at grading land -- nearly at the level of an actual grader itself -- when the dozer's blade is set as far down as possible. Due to the dozer's high torque, it will have no restraint during these operations.

Caterpillar, JCB, John Deere and Komatsu are all notable competitors in the dozer manufacturing market, known for their reliability.
